Job summary

You will monitor intracranial pressures, manage ventilators, and collaborate with neurosurgeons and intensivists in a fast paced, high‑stakes environment. You will participate in evidence‑based practices, precept new staff, and ensure patient safety and compassionate support to families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Maintains Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas.
• Experience: 1 year required; 2 years of critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical knowledge, skills, and judgement to care for complex patients.
• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment (e.g., intracranial pressures, ventilators).
• Responds to life‑saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol.
• Develops individualized care plans and evaluates patient progress.
• Coordinates care and delegates tasks within the team.
• Documents patient care thoroughly and complies with standards.
