Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Neuro ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Winston-Salem, NC. The RN will apply the nursing process in a neuro critical care setting, delivering patient-centered care and responding to clinical changes with professionalism.

Required are an active RN license in the state, BLS and ACLS/PALS certifications, and 1 year of critical care experience. This travel role offers competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state practicing
• One year of critical care experience preferred
• Current BLS card; current ACLS/PALS card (per facilityrequirement)
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• The RN delivers nursing care using the nursing process in the neuro critical care setting.
• Monitors patient conditions and recognizes changes to respond appropriately.
• Maintains composure and professionalism during emergent situations and crises.

Location: Winston-Salem, NC

The RN - Neuro ICU assumes responsibility and accountabilityfor the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care inthe neuro critical care setting. The Neuro ICU RN consistently performsaccording to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care andrecognizing change in patient’s conditions.The Neuro ICU RN must be alert and prepared at all times to respond toemergent situations and they must also be able to remain calm and professionalin times of crisis.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which thenurse practices

• One year of critical care experience is preferred

• Current BLS card; current ACLS/PALS card (per facilityrequirement)
