Job description

This position involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within established nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, health education, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Collaboration with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized care plans is essential, along with assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient preferences and cultural values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote a healing environment through patient and family education on illness management and post-treatment care.
• Participate in safety and quality improvement activities, and pursue ongoing professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document personalized care plans, ensuring effective communication across care teams.
• Utilize critical nursing skills for comprehensive patient assessments, considering emotional, spiritual, and cultural factors.
• Maintain a safety-conscious approach, adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational requirements include a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Licensure as an RN is mandatory.
• Experience is not required, but a minimum of 2 years’ experience is preferred for advanced roles.
• Experience in ICU or neurological units is advantageous.
• Shift options include 3 (12-hour) night shifts with weekend requirements every third weekend.
