Job summary

HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Neuro ICU to lead a dedicated critical care team and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care around the clock. This role requires RN licensed in the state, a Nursing diploma/ASN (BSN preferred), BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and prior acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations.
• Nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
• Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and take responsibility for the delivery of safe, quality, patient care for assigned departments on a 24-hour basis.
• Ensure department's nursing practice standards, policies and procedures meet legal, accreditation and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure continuity of care through interdisciplinary team collaboration.
• Collaborate with physicians, patients, and other healthcare team members regarding patient progress and treatment.
• Develop and implement programs to measure, monitor, and improve the quality of nursing care and hospital-wide outcomes.
• Coordinate patient care with other services and departments throughout the hospital.
