Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Neurohospitalist for its Macon, Georgia campuses to expand its stroke-focused services. Ideal candidates will have training in Vascular Neurology or Clinical Neurophysiology, or substantial General Neurology experience.

This role operates on a 7 on / 7 off consultative schedule with full hospitalist support and telemedicine for stroke alerts. Piedmont Macon campuses are Primary Stroke Centers with tele-stroke capabilities; the position offers a comprehensive

Qualifications

• Training in vascular neurology, clinical neurophysiology, or extensive experience in general neurology.
• Excellent ability to work in a consultative neurohospitalist role and coordinate with hospitalist teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide neurohospitalist consults and support for stroke alerts.
• Work on a 7 on / 7 off schedule with hospitalist group support.
• Collaborate with telemedicine services to manage tele-stroke cases.

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Neurohospitalist to expand its growing services at the two hospital campuses in Macon, Georgia.Preferred candidate will have training in Vascular Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology, or experience in General Neurology.The physicians will join an established Neurohospitalist consultation service working a 7 on / 7 off schedule with full support from the admitting hospitalist group.Piedmont Macon Main and Piedmont Macon North have DNV Primary Stroke Designation and GWTG Silve Plus status.
