Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver neuro-focused rehabilitation in home and community settings, where communication, cognition, and swallowing challenges show up in real life.

The role offers clinical autonomy, flexibility, and meaningful, relationship-based neuro rehab work, with 1:1 patient care and local coverage. You will work in local home/community environments across patients with neurological injury or illness.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the practice state(s).
• Current CPR certification in accordance with state regulations.
• Minimum of one year’s work experience as an SLP.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans and participate in staffing meetings.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide recommendations for home and community safety.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to enhance patient outcomes.

Education

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

SLP license in state(s) of practice

CPR Certification

1+ year clinical experience as SLP
