Qualifications

• Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Current and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Texas.
• BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Over 1 year of clinical or hospital experience required.
• Experience in Neuro preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of strength, range of motion, balance, and posture.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and guidelines.
• Administer manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Educate patients and families on recovery techniques and healthy lifestyles.
• Monitor progress, adjust treatments, and document in EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Supervise PT assistants or aides when applicable.
• Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment.
• Stay current with best practices, research, and innovations.
