Job summary

Banner Health seeks an EEG Technician to perform electroencephalographic procedures for patients at the Scottsdale location and affiliated centers. The role requires EEG certification and may involve EMG tasks after training, with a Monday–Friday day schedule and some flexibility to meet clinical needs.

You will collect patient data, ensure high-quality recordings, and collaborate with neurologists and the health care team to support accurate diagnoses and optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EEG certification required; EEG/EMG preferred.
• One year of clinical experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Performs prescribed electroencephalographic procedures in accordance with policies.
• Analyzes and documents procedures to maximize patient outcome.
• Ensures accurate, readable recordings and troubleshoots during procedures.
• Collects and reviews pertinent medical history and medications for the study.
• Assists with scheduling, charge entry and equipment maintenance.
• Independently performs EEG procedures under supervision as needed.
