Stanford University’s Solomon and Keller laboratories in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences are seeking a joint Software Developer Associate to build software for storing, managing, and analyzing human electrophysiological data. The role also supports brain stimulation experiments.

Work with project teams to develop Python-based tools and APIs, integrate with Stanford storage, and contribute to GUI development and documentation, collaborating with researchers and graduate students.

Qualifications

• Experience with processing biological time-series data.
• Proficiency in Python and MATLAB programming languages.
• Experience with Github and version control workflows.
• Knowledge of privacy standards for handling health-related information.

Responsabilités

• Assess user needs for flexible access and analysis of human electrophysiology data and related metadata.
• Develop Python-based software packages and APIs for fast analysis of these data.
• Integrate new software with in-house and Stanford data storage solutions.
• Contribute to refinements of software for transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) experiments, including GUI development.
• Provide real-time technical support during TMS experiments.
• Create user guides and tutorials and document code and workflows.
