Job summary

Exceed Medical is seeking a Neuro Intensivist Advanced Practitioner Provider (APP) to join our neuro‑intensive care unit team in Wisconsin. The role involves independent and collaborative care of acutely ill patients, working with EEG services and inpatient neurology consultants to deliver comprehensive neurocritical care.

The ideal candidate is board certified and licensed as an Adult‑Gerontology Acute Care NP/ACNP or PA, holds an NPI, and has current DEA registration along with BLS, ACLS, and

Qualifications

• Board certified and licensed Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP, ACNP, or Physician Assistant.
• NPI number prior to start date and Medicare billing compliance.
• DEA registration with 2–5 and state prescribing authority.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and ENLS.
• Preferred ≥1 year neuro-critical care experience as NP/PA or neuro ICU RN.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent and collaborative care to acutely ill/medically complex neuro-ICU patients.
• Coordinate with EEG services, inpatient neurology consultants, and neuro‑intensivist physicians.

Job Summary:

The Neuro Intensivist Advanced Practitioner Provider (APP) is a certified, licensed nurse practitioner or physician assistant who independently and collaboratively works with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to acutely ill and/or medically complex patients in the neuro‑intensive care unit. Our multidisciplinary team includes dedicated EEG services, inpatient neurology consultants, dedicated fellowship trained neuro‑intensivist physicians who work closely with neurosurgery and neuro‑interventional teams.

Job Requirements:

• Must be a board certified and licensed Adult‑Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant/Associate.
• Must have National Provider Identifier (NPI), or obtain NPI, prior to employment start date and meet current Medicare requirements for billing.
• Must hold current DEA Registration with schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5 and State issued prescribing authority.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Emergency Neurological Life Support (ENLS).
• Preferred experience of working at least one (1) year in the neuro‑critical care setting as a NP or PA or neuro ICU experience as a RN.
