Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Clinical Research Assistant 2 in Neurological Surgery. You will partake in data collection, maintenance, and patient interfacing for clinical and translational studies in partnership with the Department of Neurological Surgery and the COM Center for Clinical Research Management.

This onsite role requires coordinating clinical research activities, assisting with IRB and sponsor documentation, and contributing to manuscripts and grant proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biological, health, social, or medical sciences or equivalent.
• No prior experience required (entry level).
• 2–4 years of related experience preferred (optional).
• Phlebotomy experience may be desired; basic lab procedures may be desired.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform clinical research per approved protocols.
• Identify eligible participants, recruit, interview, and enroll; obtain informed consent.
• Collect, enter, and maintain data in study databases; prepare progress reports and IRB documents.
