Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Core Networking engineer in the San Francisco Bay Area to design and implement high performance networking software, including DPDK, Open vSwitch, and RDMA. You will collaborate with Apple Silicon, hardware engineering and data center teams to deliver scalable networking infrastructure.

The role requires strong ownership, initiative and excellent communication skills, with a focus on delivering reliable networking software in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent networking software development experience.
• Knowledge and experience with TCP/IP networking.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core networking functionality enabling high performance networking (DPDK, OpenvSwitch, RDMA).
• Collaborate with Apple Silicon, hardware engineering and data center teams, and external partners to build scalable networking infrastructure.
• Work with cross functional teams through software releases to production, troubleshooting and monitoring.
