Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a Networking Architect to design the next generation of AI-ready networking for data centers. You will engage across ASIC design, algorithms, topologies and systems, partnering with internal teams and external partners to pioneer groundbreaking solutions.

The role requires a PhD? (note: required education listed below) and strong collaboration skills, with experience in RDMA/RoCE and real-time software on ASICs.

Qualifications

• B.Sc or M.Sc in CS, CE, EE or equivalent.
• 4+ years in computer networks.
• Experience developing networking apps, ASICs, or real-time SW on ASICs.
• Understanding of networking and routing protocols.
• Strong problem solving and cross-group collaboration.

NVIDIA Networking has been a leader in high performance networking infrastructure for many years. The next unit of computing is the datacenter, and the network makes it all possible! We are looking to grow our networking architecture team with people passionate about accelerated computing. We are looking for you - a Networking Architect, to develop the next generation of network for AI.

What you’ll be doing:

This role requires an active part in research and development of networking solutions to enable the next generation of accelerated data centers. It spans over various layers from ASIC design to algorithms, topologies and systems, and more. You will partner with internal teams, strategic partners, standard bodies and networking communities to initiate and develop groundbreaking networking solutions for AI!

What we need to see:

• B.Sc or M.Sc degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of previous industry or research experience in computer networks
• Experience in developing networking applications, ASICs and/or real-time SW running on the ASICs
• Understanding in networking and routing protocols
• Possess strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Work and operate in a highly sophisticated environment
• Ability to work concurrently with multiple groups in the organization and with strategic partners

Ways to stand out of the crowd:

• Knowledge in RDMA, with focus on RoCE
• Understanding of various network topologies and their attributes
• Understanding and experience with load balancing and congestion control algorithms
• Practice of industry standards and/or the experience of working with standards organizations and/or open source communities
• Possess strong skills with Python and/or C++

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 124,000 USD - 195,500 USD. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Applications for this job will be accepted at least until July 25, 2026.
