Position Summary

The primary location of this position is on-site in Cullowhee, NC. This position is designated as being subject to the State of North Carolina Human Resources Act (SHRA).

The Network Analyst serves within the Division of IT Infrastructure and is responsible for maintaining, supporting, and enhancing the University's network and voice communications infrastructure. This position installs, configures, and troubleshoots network switches, routers, wireless systems, VoIP telephony equipment, and related connectivity components, as well as performs network cabling repairs and upgrades as needed. The analyst supports the administration of network management and monitoring systems, assists in safeguarding the security and integrity of the campus network and voice services, provides operational support for the University's VoIP environment, and maintains accurate network documentation to ensure reliability, performance, and continuity of services.
