Job summary

Google in Sunnyvale, CA is hiring a software engineer to work on next‑generation systems that scale to billions of users. You will contribute to distributed computing, large‑scale storage, and AI‑driven features, with opportunities to switch teams as our product needs evolve.

You will provide technical leadership, design and implement robust software, and collaborate across cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑impact solutions while mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
  
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
• 2 years of experience building AI/agentic products, or infrastructure to serve those products, and understanding the trade-offs and challenges necessary in making AI and agentic workloads a success.

US: $207000 - $300000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
