Job summary

ISITE TECHNOLOGIES is seeking a senior network engineer based in New York to lead complex LAN/WAN projects, design scalable architectures, and validate features end-to-end in lab environments.

You will work with IOS XE/NX-OS platforms, OSPF/BGP/IGMP/PIM protocols, and Cisco Catalyst/Nexus switches, with Linux administration and automation skills a strong plus. This role requires hands-on leadership and collaboration across teams to deliver robust network solutions.

Qualifications

• Senior level, experienced, can lead projects and work independently.
• Extensive experience with LAN/WAN network design, engineering, and code/ feature certification/ validation.
• Experience with testing design and certification of products in LAB environments is highly desirable.
• CCIE or at a min CCNP level experience.
• Demonstrate knowledge of working with protocols such as OSPF, BGP, IGMP and PIM.
• Knowledge of Cisco platforms such as Catalyst and Nexus.
• Knowledge of certification of new code, and bug scrubs on IOS/ XE/ NXOS/ and limited XR.
• Good foundation in Linux administration, networking, and automation.
• Strong knowledge of switching and switching mechanisms like CEF, TCAM.
