Job summary

INA Solution is seeking a Network Cabling Technician in Brownsville, TX for a data center build. You will pull fiber and Cat6/Cat6A, perform fusion splicing, terminate patch panels, and dress/label cables.

You will test installations with OTDR/Fluke and install ladder racks, trays, and cabinets, with scissor lift use required. Must have 2+ years in low-voltage cabling or fiber, experience with hand and power tools, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and be committed to a set shift and overtime

Qualifications

• 2+ years of low-voltage, structured cabling, or fiber experience.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders and lifts.

Responsibilities

• Pull fiber and Cat6/Cat6A cable for a new data center build.
• Terminate patch panels and dress/label cables.
• Test circuits with OTDR and Fluke equipment.
• Install ladder racks, trays, and cabinets; operate scissor lift as required.

Role:

Join the data center build crew to pull fiber and Cat6/Cat6A cable, perform fusion splicing, terminate patch panels, dress and label cable, test with OTDR/Fluke, and install ladder racks, trays, and cabinets. Scissor lift use required.
