Job summary

stanleyreid is seeking a Network/Systems Engineer for a 100% onsite role in Herndon, VA. The candidate will design, upgrade, and maintain complex networks, including LAN/WAN, BGP/MPLS, and VOIP/VTC systems.

Required: 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree, plus Windows/AD expertise and COMSEC familiarity. TS/SCI + FS Poly clearance is a must for this position.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of network engineering experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Expertise in Ethernet/IP LAN design and WAN design.
• Experience with BGP and MPLS design, configuration, and maintenance.
• Microsoft Windows desktop and server experience; Active Directory familiarity.
• VOIP and VTC experience with Cisco/Polycom or equivalent.
• Experience with COMSEC systems.

Our client has an immediate opening for a Network/Systems Engineer. This role is 100% onsite in Herndon-VA. In this role you will perform complex network designs network upgrades, and routine O&M.

Qualified candidates will have:

• 8+ years of experience + Bachelor's degree. Additional experience may be substituted.
• Ethernet and IP Lan design, configuration, and maintenance experience.
• SONET-based WAN design, configuration, and maintenance experience.
• BGP and MPLS design, configuration and maintenance experience.
• Microsoft Windows desktop and server experience.
• Experience with Active Directory.
• VOIP and VTC experience with Cisco, Polycom, or equivalent.
• Experience with COMSEC systems.

Desired skills:

• Experience with Enterprise level Cisco network, VOIP, and VTC devices.
• Experience with VMWare vSphere, vCenter, and other enterprise VMWare solutions.

This role requires an active TS/SCI + FS Poly government clearance.
