Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Network Systems Automation Engineer to design and implement automated network solutions across multi-vendor environments using Python and modern network APIs. This role focuses on automating configuration, change management, and observability in enterprise networks while collaborating with engineers across teams.

The position is 100% remote within the United States, full-time direct W2, with a salary range of $100,000 to $150,000 per year and requires 6+

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Networking.
• 6+ years of network automation experience.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Solid routing, switching, and BGP knowledge.
• Hands-on with Netmiko, Nornir, NAPALM, or Scrapli.
• Experience with Ansible, Jinja2, Git, and CI/CD.
• Familiar with NetBox/Nautobot and modern network APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop network automation solutions using Python and tools.
• Build automation for network configuration, deployment, and validation.
• Integrate with NETCONF, RESTCONF, gNMI, and vendor APIs.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Ansible, Terraform, and Jinja2.
• Manage source-of-truth platforms such as NetBox or Nautobot.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines, testing, and network validation.
• Automate compliance, monitoring, and telemetry.
• Collaborate with network teams and mentor engineers on automation best practices.

• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Jinja2, Git, and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with NetBox, Nautobot, and modern network APIs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cisco DevNet or similar automation certifications.
• Experience with Cisco, Arista, or Juniper environments.
• Knowledge of streaming telemetry, cloud networking, and open-source network automation tools.
