Job summary

WaveWorks in Akron seeks an experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our technology team. This is a contract position with the potential for full-time employment for the right candidate, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds.

You will install and maintain hardware and software, monitor performance, and provide technical support across Windows and Linux environments. Familiarity with virtualization VMware/Hyper-V and cloud platforms AWS/Azure is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience working as a Network or Systems Administrator.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies VMware Hyper-V.
• Knowledge of cloud computing AWS Azure is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities
