AireSpring in Los Angeles is seeking a Network Systems Administrator to manage the design and configuration of Windows and Linux platforms. This role includes automation of service delivery, platform security, and the development of high-availability network services.
The ideal candidate will have 7–8 years of experience, deep knowledge in operating systems, and strong skills in shell scripting and system troubleshooting. Join a team responsible for critical network functionalities and infrastructure.
The AireSpring Network Systems Administrator is responsible for the design, configuration, and maintenance of Windows and *NIX platforms, as well as the network services operating from these platforms. The position is responsible for design of solutions, the automation of service delivery, hardware/software/OS/application maintenance, platform security, and the build out of globally accessible high-availability products and services.
Platforms include full control of Dell, HP, Intel, and Super Micro standalone and hypervisor (KVM, ESXi, Hyper‑V) systems that operate Windows and several Linux distribution server OS, with open source and proprietary daemons and services for internal and customer‑facing network functionality (SD‑WAN, SSHd, IPsec, SBCs, QoS, AAA, TACACS, syslog, iPerf, firewalld, SQL, ACLs, VRFs, etc.). 7–8 years experience.
This position is not entry or intermediate level. A strong candidate for this position would have deep knowledge and extensive hands‑on experience in the technologies, software, operating systems, and services noted above, and fully understand how high availability network services are delivered across the OSI layers in secured and scalable fashions. It is understood that the fundamentals, such as shell scripting, AD integration, RAID filesystem management, hardware selection, OS installation, data restoration, system troubleshooting, etc. have all been previously mastered by the strong candidate.
