Job summary

Army National Guard Units in New York State is seeking an IT Specialist (Network/Sysadmin) at the GS-2210-11 level to support Automated Logistics Information Systems and related programs across state activities and organizations.

The role requires analyzing and identifying problems, planning and implementing resolutions for administrative and systemic programs throughout the organization, with a Secret clearance and federal benefits.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.
• Degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for Automated Logistics Information Systems and Programs to all State/Territories activities/organizations and perform planning, analyzing and identifying problems to develop and implement resolutions to administrative and systemic programs throughout the organization.
