We're looking for a skilled Network Support Analyst to serve as a trusted technical advisor to our clients, with a focused emphasis on network infrastructure and connectivity. You'll own complex network problem-solving, drive proactive maintenance, and deliver a consistently exceptional client experience — all within a fast-paced MSP environment.
This is a client-facing, hands-on role for someone who thrives on diagnosing and resolving network challenges, takes ownership, and wants to work with a collaborative team that values both technical depth and communication skills.
Role Description
- Diagnose and resolve network and connectivity issues — LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and beyond — escalating strategically and documenting thoroughly
- Design and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points across diverse client environments
- Engage directly with clients to understand their network environments, analyze challenges, and maintain clear communication throughout every engagement
- Manage routine network maintenance — firmware updates, patch management, configuration backups, and performance optimizations
- Implement and manage network security controls — firewalls, VLANs, access control lists, and intrusion detection — to protect client infrastructure and data
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks or vulnerabilities before they impact clients
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and network security standards
- Maintain detailed documentation of client network topologies, configurations, and procedures
- Mentor and collaborate with teammates to share knowledge and elevate the team
Role Requirements
Experience
- 3–5+ years in network support, network administration, or a comparable MSP role
- MSP experience strongly preferred
- Relevant certifications a plus: CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent
Technical Skills
- Deep knowledge of network protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPN
- Hands-on experience with network hardware: Cisco, Fortinet, Meraki, Ubiquiti, or similar
- Proficiency in firewall configuration and network security best practices
- Familiarity with cloud networking: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud environments
- Systems administration proficiency: Windows and macOS
