Dimensional is seeking a seasoned Network Engineering leader to guide a global team responsible for designing, deploying, and optimizing a resilient network infrastructure across data centers and cloud environments. The role emphasizes automation, security, and scalable architectures.

You will champion Infrastructure as Code, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network strategy with business goals, while managing vendor relationships and ensuring regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent); advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in network engineering and operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven expertise in designing and managing complex network infrastructures (VXLAN, BGP, MPLS, hybrid cloud, micro-segmentation).
• Strong background in IaC and automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

What you might work on:

• Lead, manage, and transform a global team of network engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and development opportunities to support career growth and operational excellence.
• Design, deploy, and manage a resilient global network infrastructure, including data centers and cloud environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Develop and implement network strategies and architectures for Hybrid Cloud environments, leveraging network virtualization and micro-segmentation technologies.
• Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, utilizing tools like Ansible and Terraform to automate network provisioning, configuration, and management tasks, ensuring scalable and repeatable processes.
• Oversee the management of core networking protocols and services, including BGP and MPLS, optimizing routing and traffic management to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into network solutions that support enterprise goals.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective procurement of network services and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to network security and data protection.
• Stay abreast of emerging networking and AI technologies and trends, assessing their potential impact on the organization and driving innovation in network services and architecture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent relevant career experience); advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in network engineering and operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing a global team.
• Proven expertise in designing and managing complex network infrastructures, including experience with VXLAN, BGP, MPLS, hybrid cloud environments and micro-segmentation.
• Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering an environment of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Competencies:

• Experience collaborating with cybersecurity teams to implement a Zero Trust security model.
• A strong interest or background in leveraging AI-driven tools and automation solutions to optimize network monitoring, troubleshooting, and overall operational efficiency.
• Familiarity with leveraging AI technologies to drive improvements in network operations, security posture, and infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with standards bodies such as NIST 800-37, CIS, SANS, etc.
• Experience with next generation Firewalls (e.g. Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, Checkpoint) VMWare, NSX, VRA.
• Strong working knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), VLANs, QoS, and IPv4/IPv6 fundamentals.
• Knowledgeable of WAN design to support real time video streaming, as well as other requirements particular to supporting large video file data transfer.
• Experience with network monitoring tools including SolarWinds, ELK, and Grafana.
• Experience with Unified Communications / Telephony systems including Cisco, Microsoft Teams, and voice recording tools.
• Experience with video conferencing technology including Zoom, Webex, and Microsoft Teams.
