MAINSAIL Group is in search of a Network Services Engineer to support the Cyber and Networks Directorate located at Hanscom AFB, Bedford, Massachusetts. This position supports the United States Air Force and the Base Information Transport Infrastructure Program.

Responsibilities Include:

• Support work involving the planning, analysis, design, development, testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, implementation, integration, maintenance, and management of networked systems used for transmitting voice, data, and video information.

Functions performed by individuals in this role may include:

• Analyzing and recommending network requirements.
• Recommending and maintaining network architecture and infrastructure.
• Analyzing network workload.
• Monitoring network capacity and performance.
• Diagnosing and resolving network problems.
• Recommending network backup and recovery procedures.
• Installing, testing, maintaining, and upgrading network operating systems software; ensuring the application of cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices in network service delivery.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Technical Experience Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in a network engineering position.
• Thorough knowledge of routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Ability to use, configure, troubleshoot, and operate Cisco, Juniper, Brocade, and/or HP network devices.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
