Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Firewall Engineer to oversee the engineering and operations of our network security infrastructure, focusing on Palo Alto firewalls and other security components.

You will translate policies into technical rulesets for Reyes’ security systems, manage day-to-day engineering tasks, incident and change management, and maintain security policies and training plans across locations.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years firewall engineering experience with Palo Alto devices.
• 3+ years experience with ZScaleer.
• 5+ years in network security engineering.
• Hands-on knowledge of firewalls, proxies, routers, switches, and WAN.
• Experience in medium to large enterprises with multiple remote locations.

Oversee the engineering and operations of network security infrastructure: Palo Alto firewalls.

Responsible for receiving policy from the Enterprise Security team, translating policies into technical rulesets which can then be installed into Reyes’ security systems.

Responsible for the technical day-to-day engineering of the network security solutions including work prioritization, incident, problem, and change management.

Responsible for maintaining policies, procedures, and training plans for network security technologies
