Accenture Federal Services in Leesburg, VA is seeking a Network Security Engineer to deliver expert network security engineering and sustainment services to maintain, enhance, and secure the Agency's network infrastructure, including firewall rule reviews, LAN/WAN and cloud security design, and administration of the CSD tool suite.

You will evaluate firewall requests, develop LAN/WAN security standards, administer SIEM infrastructure, and collaborate with Security Operations and Network

Competenze

• 7 years of experience in system administration, network engineering, or cybersecurity with a security focus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity or related field.
• Certifications: Security+, Network+, CCST/CCENT, PCCSA, JNCIA-Junos, AWS Cloud Practitioner.
• Preferred: CCNA/CCNP, AWS Advanced Networking Specialty.

Mansioni

• Review network security architecture/designs and evaluate firewall requests for approval per security best practices.
• Develop LAN/WAN security standards and design documentation.
• Review and validate firewall rule requests for least privilege and proper controls.
• Administer, configure, tune, and secure the network-related CSD tool suite and sensors.
• Maintain SIEM infrastructure/OS for IDS, firewall, and proxy data; manage CDM tools.
• Collaborate with Security Operations and Network Operations on investigations and improvements.
• Identify and report network performance/security gaps; conduct trades on tools/technologies.
• Participate in market research for new network security solutions and policy development.
