Job summary

Legacy Bank and Trust in Springfield, MO is seeking an IT Security Analyst – Network Security to implement, monitor, and improve network security controls protecting bank systems and information assets.

The role centers on Cisco technologies, network access control, threat response, and vulnerability remediation, aligning with the bank's Zero Trust objectives and collaborating with MSPs, vendors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; relevant certifications considered.
• 3+ years in network security or related fields.
• Hands-on Cisco networking experience (switching, routing, VPN, wireless).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, vulnerability remediation, incident response.
• Ability to document procedures, diagrams, actions taken, findings and remediation clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication with ability to translate risk into business terms.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor enterprise network security infrastructure.
• Configure Cisco Catalyst, Meraki, ISE, Umbrella, and AnyConnect.
• Assist with secure LAN/WAN/WLAN, VPN, firewall, and NAC environments.
• Monitor network and security events for anomalies and risks.
• Support secure configuration standards, patching, and hardening of network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with IAM staff on authentication and access governance controls.
• Assist with secure architecture reviews for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid solutions.
