Job summary

Gruve is seeking a Network Security Engineer to join the US Solutions Delivery team in Edison, NJ. The role focuses on implementing and supporting enterprise firewall and network security solutions, primarily Cisco ASA/FTD and NGFW deployments.

You will own workstreams end-to-end, coordinating with architects, project managers, and customer stakeholders. The position requires US citizenship, travel across the U.S., and an on-site presence in Edison, New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or related field.
• 4-7 years of cybersecurity experience with a focus on firewall design and implementation.
• 3+ years designing and implementing Cisco ASA/FTD or similar firewalls.
• Proven troubleshooting of firewall/VPN connectivity, NAT, routing and policy issues.
• Knowledge of NGFW features such as malware protection, threat detection, and IPS.

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure enterprise firewall and network security solutions (NGFW/FTD, VPNs, NAT, NAC/ISE, SASE).
• Manage firewall policies, including access rules, NAT, objects, zones, and security profiles.
• Test and validate firewall rules and configurations in lab before production deployment.
• Migrate from Cisco ASA/third‑party platforms to Cisco FTD and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and customers to ensure timely delivery.
