Job summary

Cloud Hybrid Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage security across regional data centers, offices, and edge environments. The role includes operating security appliances, automating infrastructure, and contributing to security operations in a global, follow-the-sun on-call setup.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in network security.
• Experience with network security platforms: Cisco ASA (CSM), FTD (FMC), FortiGate (FortiManager), Juniper SRX (Junos Space).
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, OSI model, routing/switching, ACLs, NAT, DNS.
• Familiarity with security technologies: firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, encryption, authentication, vulnerability management, and incident response.

• Develop and maintain operational processes, runbooks, and documentation for ongoing support.


• Participate in a global \"follow-the-sun\" on-call support rotation.

Qualifications

Technical Skills & Tools

• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP and Internet technologies, IPS/IDS, firewall virtualization, VPNs, NAT, DNS.


• Automation & DevOps: GitHub, Terraform, Ansible, Python, REST APIs, Jenkins, Jinja2, YAML (experience with CI/CD concepts and tools is a plus).


• Cloud: Experience with AWS and Azure network security services and connectivity.


• Relevant certifications preferred but not required: Cisco (CCNA/CCNP Security), Fortinet (FCA/FCSS/NSE), CISSP, GIAC.

Soft Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.


• Self-motivated, proactive, able to work independently in a global virtual team.


• Strong multitasking, prioritization, analytical mindset, and collaborative team orientation.
