Qualifications

• • Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) Certification is strongly preferred.
• • Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP) Certification is strongly preferred.
• • 8+ years of experience in Architecture or Sr. Network Security engineering.
• • 5+ years of experience in designing and deploying technical solutions in a large-scale complex environment.
• • 5+ years of experience in network security architecture.
• • Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet products.
• • Strong understanding of network protocols and security best practices.
• • Experience with a NAC (Aruba Clearpass, Cisco Client, and ForeScout) environment is strongly desired.
• • Experience installing, managing, and supporting production network and computer security systems comprised of multiple network hardware and software.
• • Strong understanding of Routing, Switching, 802.1X, 802.1Q VLAN, VPN, LAN, WAN, RADIUS, and Network Security.
• • Knowledge of security standards, procedures, and technologies.
• • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills, comfortable communicating with audiences of varying levels of management; ability to establish rapport, and gain respect and collaboration.
• • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• • Strong strategic and analytical thinking, root cause analysis, and creative problem-solving ability.
• • A self-motivated individual with a 'can do' attitude, seeing the big picture, creative and collaborative.
• • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to efficiently collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• • Network administrator experience and network security experience is a plus.
• • Security and Network certification such as CISSP, SSCP, GIAC, or CCIE is a plus.
• • Healthcare provider industry experience is preferred.
• • Education: Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
