The Opportunity

CACI is seeking a Network/SATCOM Technician to support our government program. Qualified candidates will have experience configuring Cisco routers and switches, operating and configuring VSAT/Idirect, and experience in integration, fielding, production, installation, testing, evaluation, maintenance, and Life Cycle Sustainment Management (LCSM) in DoD C5ISR systems, subsystems, and equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Life Cycle Sustainment and Maintenance (LCSM) support 24/7 for Navy Expeditionary Combatant Command (NECC) EDN Family of Systems, via telephone, email, and on-site support to maintain deployable status.
  • Offer technical support on all equipment and materials under the NECC EDN program, including on-site and telephonic support for CONUS and OCONUS EDN Terminals.
  • Perform Tier III repairs and support beyond the technical expertise of the organization’s level.
  • Provide installation, operation, maintenance training, and troubleshooting to personnel.
  • Conduct On the Job Training, CERPs, and system upgrades.
  • Generate and maintain work orders, manage shipping/return of equipment using the Government Database.
  • Conduct bench testing of components to assess system status before shipment and storage.
  • Assist in R&D efforts and system modifications.
  • Serve as the primary technician for satellite deployable nodes supporting EDN systems.
  • Provide weekly and ad hoc support reports to customers.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Active Secret Clearance, ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret w/SCI clearance.
  • Technical training in DoD C5ISR systems, including Satellite Communications or Networking Equipment.
  • 15 years of hands-on experience with Joint Warfighter C4ISR systems, including 3 in Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, or Training.
  • Recognized expertise with leadership in C5ISR systems development, logistics support, or T&E.
  • Experience configuring Cisco routers and switches; knowledge of HAIPE encryption devices, BGAN, INMARSAT networks, LAN/WAN.

Desired:

  • Security+ certification preferred.

Salary Range

Proposed range: $73,800 - $155,100 USD, influenced by various factors including experience, location, and certifications.
