Qualifications

• Strong ability to optimize systems by juggling many variables, considering all options, running a detailed trade study.
• Process oriented mindset - constantly seeking more efficient ways of doing things, anticipating features needed from both internal and external tools.
• Scripting language experience, preferably Python
• Enjoy a fast paced environment, with just the right amount of chaos :)

Responsibilities

• Pre-sales and post-sales network architecture and planning to optimize high throughput satellite networks.
• Trade studies covering digital payload configuration, orbital slot selection, frequency planning and gateway locations.
• Define user terminal selection and networking/modem equipment configuration.
• Role balances technical work with business/customer facing responsibilities and mentorship from a senior engineer.
