Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. (GDIT) is seeking a Network Administrator Associate for the BIM program at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam on Oahu, Hawaii.

You will join a site team that operates and maintains the base network, collaborating with our Air Force customer during a major modernization. You will perform health checks, triage incidents, apply STIGs, and coordinate changes during maintenance windows.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.
• DoD 8140 qualification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) required.
• 3+ years of hands-on network experience in enterprise/DoD/military environments.
• Knowledge of switching, VLANs, basic routing, and TCP/IP; comfortable with command line.
• Exposure to STIG compliance and patching.
• Willingness to work on site at JBPHH and participate in after-hours maintenance and on-call duty.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot enterprise network equipment, resolve tickets, and close them within SLAs.
• Conduct health checks, review monitoring, and manage incident queues.
• Apply changes through formal processes during scheduled maintenance windows (nights/weekends).
• Support preventive maintenance in telecom rooms and assist with installs/upgrades of the modernization.
• Participate in on-call rotations and coordinate with military/civilian customers.
