Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of network device configuration and connectivity tasks.
• Executes procedures and coordinates corrective action to optimize network performance.
• Installs, configures and monitors software packages that measure WAN/LAN performance.
• Implements standard configuration software loads for all network devices.
• Utilizes benchmarks and data to manage network servers and data devices for normal/surge workloads.
• Works with technical support to resolve critical problems.
• Uses remote management software to update configurations and files.
• Documents and tracks changes to configuration, protocol and user/system files.
• Ensures backup processes are completed and explores performance reliability.
• Coordinates configuration management plans for complex LANs/WANs with multiple elements.
• Implements remote installation plans for applications and upgrades.
• Monitors distribution of applications/upgrades for regulatory compliance.
• Maintains accurate records of authorized users of distributed software.
• Implements standard operating procedures for all network devices.
• Reviews and evaluates proposed software; informs long-range planning for C4 networks.
• Analyzes equipment/software reliability and end-to-end performance levels.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
