Job summary

Invesco is hiring a Network Infrastructure Operations Engineer in the United States (Houston, TX / Atlanta, GA) to manage and optimize global network services. You will monitor and troubleshoot enterprise networks, implement changes under ITSM, and drive automation with IaC tools in a hybrid office setup.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Cloud and Security teams, incident response, and continuous improvement to ensure reliable, secure connectivity across on‑prem and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure in an operations, support, or engineering capacity.
• Experience with Cisco switching, routing, wireless, and data center networking technologies.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, GlobalProtect, Prisma Access, SD-WAN, VPN, and network security operations.
• Automation and IaC tooling: Python, Ansible, Terraform; APIs and automation best practices.
• Cloud networking with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud networking services.
• Strong incident, problem, change management, and service improvement discipline.
• Relevant certifications: CCNA/CCNP, PCNSA/PCNSE, Azure Network Engineer Associate, AWS Networking Specialty, ITIL Foundation

Responsibilities

• Monitor, support, troubleshoot, and maintain global network infrastructure for high availability and security.
• Implement infrastructure changes, upgrades, and maintenance per ITSM/change processes.
• Serve as escalation point for network incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Partner with Engineering to operationalize new technologies in production.
• Maintain runbooks, diagrams, and knowledge articles; support DR exercises and vulnerability remediation.
• Develop automation to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotations for critical incidents and maintenance.
