Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field (Engineering, Geography by assignment).
• 3-5 years of computer systems experience in at least one of: Applications, Database, Desktop, GIS, Network, Security, Server, or Web Support.
• CCNP certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Background check and polygraph may be required by assignment.
• Valid Class D Arizona Driver’s License by hire or promotion date may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assess, and proactively monitor platform and environment to meet performance and availability metrics.
• Coordinate firmware and software configurations, monitor performance, and take preemptive measures to minimize interruptions.
• Perform complex diagnostics and troubleshooting for designated platforms; contribute to QA and test scripting.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring; participate in team training and knowledge transfer.
• Lead and participate in projects using PMO methodologies; document actions and results for knowledge transfer.
