Job summary

DOR - Office of Information Technology (OIT) seeks a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and operate enterprise networking across state data centers and facilities. You will work on Cisco Nexus/ACI fabrics, SDA architectures, and identity-driven security with strong emphasis on reliability and observability.

The role requires hands-on engineering, collaboration with infrastructure teams, and the ability to support mission-critical systems across statewide

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience with Cisco networking.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI in production environments.
• Deep knowledge of ACI constructs (VRF, BD, EPG, ESG, L3Out, contracts).
• Experience integrating ACI with OpenShift VMM and Cilium/Isovalent.
• Proficiency with Cisco Catalyst platforms and SDA fabric technologies.
• Experience administering Cisco ISE including TACACS+ and policy-based NAC.
• Strong understanding of observability tools (ThousandEyes, Cyber Vision, DNA Spaces).
• Strong TCP/IP, routing, switching, QoS, and security fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Cisco Nexus platforms and ACI fabric.
• Integrate ACI with virtualization/container platforms (OpenShift).
• Configure RoCEv2 within ACI fabric for low latency workloads.
• Troubleshoot ACI fabric health, faults, and contracts; develop runbooks and docs.
• Deploy and support SDA fabric and Catalyst platforms; maintain SD-Access architectures.
