Job summary

iT1 is seeking a Network Implementation Engineer to design, deploy, and validate complex network solutions for enterprise clients. You will translate requirements into actionable plans and hand off deployments to operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on networking experience with routers, switches, VPN/IPsec, and VXLAN, plus strong troubleshooting and client communication skills. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on networking experience in large-enterprise environments.
• 5+ years configuring and supporting enterprise network hardware and technologies, including routers, switches, VPN, and IPsec.
• 5+ years implementing and supporting enterprise network deployments.
• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP and enterprise networking technologies (LAN/WAN/VXLAN).
• Ability to configure, deploy, test, troubleshoot, and validate complex network solutions.
• Ability to assess existing network architectures and provide sound recommendations.
• Strong troubleshooting and client-facing communication skills.
• Ability to travel as required by client and project needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed network implementation plans, deployment procedures, test plans, and validation matrices.
• Review and translate client requirements into actionable implementation plans.
• Configure, deploy, integrate, test, and troubleshoot complex network solutions in client environments.
• Assess existing networks to identify requirements, dependencies, risks, and issues.
• Provide technical recommendations and resolve challenges with clients and internal teams.
• Present plans and updates to clients in meetings (in-person or virtual).
• Coordinate with Project Management, Sales, Presales, and other resources for deployments.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and transfer knowledge to client operations.
