Randstad Digital Americas in Columbus, OH is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support internal IT and innovative science initiatives. The role starts on-site with a 9/80 schedule and shifts to a hybrid model (three days in the office, two remote).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in network engineering or related technical role.
• Experience with ZTNA/SASE platforms such as Cloudflare, Zscaler, Prisma Access, or Netskope.
• Experience integrating central management firewalls with multi-cloud AWS and Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto security products and next-generation firewalls.
• Fundamental networking knowledge: switching, hardware, and wireless.
• U.S. Citizenship, with background enabling handling sensitive material; on-site in Columbus, OH.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, operate, and support enterprise network infrastructure across local, wide-area, and cloud environments.
• Own technical strategy and execution as a core designer/implementer.
• Operate and support Zero Trust security software with identity-aware access and policy-based controls.
• Integrate centralized management firewalls with multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance using analytics tools.
• Lead the technical execution of network initiatives from planning through implementation.
• Provide troubleshooting for complex network incidents across core, access, and edge environments.
• Participate in on-call rotation evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, operate, and support enterprise network infrastructure across local, wide-area, and cloud-connected environments.
• Act as a core designer and implementer with direct ownership of technical strategy and execution.
• Operate and support Zero Trust security software utilizing identity-aware access and policy-based controls.
• Integrate centralized management firewalls seamlessly with multi-cloud environments, specifically AWS and Azure.
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize overall network performance and capacity using enterprise analytics tools.
• Lead the technical execution of assigned network initiatives from initial planning through final implementation.
• Provide troubleshooting and resolution for complex network incidents across core, access, and edge environments.
• Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation to maintain critical enterprise network services during evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

Must-Haves: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in network engineering or a closely related technical role. Enterprise-level, hands-on experience with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) or SASE platforms, such as Cloudflare, Zscaler, Palo Alto Prisma Access, or Netskope. Experience integrating central management firewalls with multi-cloud environments like AWS and Azure. Strong hands-on background in administering Palo Alto security products and next-generation firewalls. Fundamental expertise in core networking basics, including switching, hardware, and wireless skills. U.S. Citizenship, with a background that allows for passing standard checks for handling sensitive material. Willingness to work on-site in Columbus, OH.
Nice-to-Haves: Hands-on administration experience specifically with Cloudflare SASE, Cloudflare WARP, and Cloudflare One. Integration experience with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD). Experience utilizing network monitoring and logging tools such as PRTG, Grafana, and Prometheus. Hands-on experience supporting Juniper wireless networking solutions. Experience with scripting or automation tools like Python, Ansible, or PowerShell. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
