Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to help DoD evolve remote access networks supporting national security systems. You will design, install, configure, and maintain network components, resolve interoperability issues, and support hardware acquisitions while growing expertise in secure data in transit and at rest for CSfC solutions.

You will lead CSfC projects, work with SMEs, and ensure scalable, secure networks using SSL/IPsec VPNs, PKI, VLANs, and routing protocols.

You Have:

• Experience with leading and developing CSfC solutions and supporting the maturation of CSfC capability packages
• Experience with Aruba and Cisco network switches, routers, and firewalls
• Experience with leading the design, test, and deployment of DoD systems or solutions
• Experience with configuring and troubleshooting SSL and IPsec VPNs
• Experience in analyzing network traffic with Wireshark or TCP Dump
• Knowledge of PKI implementation, including X.509 Certificates and Certificate authorities
• Knowledge of VLAN design schemes for network separation and routing protocols, including RIP, EIGRP, MPLS, BGP, and OSPF
• Ability to depict network diagrams accurately using Microsoft Visio
• Top Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience in coordinating with the commercial mobile industry to assess mobile technologies for the US government
• Experience with working in classified spaces to implement network solutions
• Experience with implementing certificate based encryption on network devices
• Experience with configuring and deploying Type-1 encryption devices
• Ability to initiate, manage, execute, and report tasks independently
• Ability to communicate complex network principles and designs to clients
• CCNP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
