Mastronardi Produce, based in Livonia, Michigan, seeks a Network Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain our LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems. You will enforce security controls, monitor performance, and collaborate with IT and business teams to meet evolving needs.

The role requires strong TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, and routing knowledge, plus experience with monitoring tools (Wireshark, Nagios, SolarWinds).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer in a medium to large enterprise.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and VPNs.
• Experience designing and managing LANs, WANs, and wireless networks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Design, deploy, and maintain LANs/WANs including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
• Implement and manage network security measures to protect data and systems.
• Configure and optimize network devices for efficient operation.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues with cross-functional teams and service providers.
• Plan capacity and recommend upgrades to meet future requirements.
• Maintain network monitoring and management tools to address performance and security issues.
• Collaborate on the design and implementation of network solutions for new projects.
• Conduct regular network assessments and vulnerability scans to identify risks.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in network design and security.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, diagrams, and procedures.
• Provide technical support to end-users and respond to inquiries.
• Assist in developing network policies and guidelines.
• Stay updated with emerging network technologies and trends.
• Collaborate with vendors to manage network services and equipment.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide off-hours support.
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices.
