Job Title: Level 2 Network Engineer
Location: Onsite / Hybrid (80% onsite, 20% remote)
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Environment: Hospital / Healthcare Setting
We are seeking a Level 2 Network Engineer to support a fast-paced healthcare environment with a strong focus on network upgrades, system hardening, operational support, and infrastructure reliability. This role will be heavily involved in maintaining and improving enterprise network systems across a hospital setting, with responsibilities spanning switching, wireless, OS upgrades, configuration hardening, documentation, and change management.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst, Cisco IOS, Cisco Nexus, and Cisco ACI, along with a solid understanding of enterprise networking best practices. This person should also be comfortable working directly with internal stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors to plan and execute network changes with minimal disruption to hospital operations.
We’re looking for someone who is technically solid, organized, and dependable, with the ability to manage both the hands-on engineering work and the coordination/documentation side of network operations. This person should be comfortable working in a highly visible environment where communication, planning, and execution are just as important as technical skill.
