Job summary

Kaimetrix is seeking a Network Engineer – Level II to support the planning and operation of enterprise network services in a secure, mission-critical environment. The ideal candidate will ensure reliable, secure networks while meeting evolving organizational and mission needs.

Responsibilities include implementing network services, enhancing security measures, and monitoring network performance. A minimum of 4 years of experience in network engineering and relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CCNA are required for consideration.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in network engineering or related IT infrastructure roles.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Active Tier 3 (T3) background investigation.

  • Plan, implement, and operate network services and systems to support enterprise operations.
  • Incorporate security measures into network designs to protect against data breaches and security threats.

What you’ll do
  • Plan, implement, and operate network services and systems to support enterprise operations
  • Incorporate security measures into network designs to protect against data breaches and security threats
  • Monitor network performance to ensure reliability, availability, and optimal operation
  • Analyze current network environments and support planning for future network requirements
  • Assist in maintaining secure and stable network operations across enterprise systems
  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of network-related issues to ensure continuity of services
  • Ensure network configurations align with organizational and security requirements
Qualifications
Education / Experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in network engineering or related IT infrastructure roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Certifications
  • Advanced Certification such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, CCNA
Clearance
  • Active Tier 3 (T3) background investigation or ability to obtain and maintain
