Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a senior network engineer to build and operate multi-vendor, multi-region hybrid cloud networks at scale.

You will drive automation with Ansible, Terraform and NETCONF/YANG or gNMI/OpenConfig; write production-grade Python or Go; and participate in 24x7 on-call rotations in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident.
  • 7+ years of experience in building and operating multi-vendor, multi-region production networks including 4+ years focusing on network automation.
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and infrastructure-as-code — Ansible, Terraform, and NETCONF/YANG or gNMI/OpenConfig.
  • Experience writing production-quality code in Python (or Go), and familiarity with Git-based workflows, code review, testing, and CI/CD.
  • Experience operating in FedRAMP or other regulated environments.
  • Expert in routing and switching protocols: IPv6, MP-BGP, OSPF, ISIS, EVPN, VxLAN, QoS, IPSEC, MACsec.
  • Experience deploying and supporting connectivity on AWS, GCP, Azure.
  • Proven experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

About The Role:

What You Need:

This role will require the candidate to periodically undergo and pass additional background and fingerprint check(s) consistent with government customer requirements.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.
