Engr III Spec-Ntwk Perf

Location: 1936 E Deere Ave #100, Santa Ana, CA

Targeted Years of Experience: 5-7 years

As a team member of the FAST, your primary role will be to provide remote support to Field Engineers with the integration of new equipment into the network. You will also help to identify and troubleshoot network issues that arise. This may include alarm verification, remote resolution, cell site access assistance, network data trending, and documentation.

Responsibilities include:

1. Monitor and react quickly to issues found with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and System Alarms on regional switch & data network elements, including LTE, EVDO, CDMA, VoLTE, and EBH networks.
2. Serve as Telecommunication's primary contact while vendors are on-site performing equipment upgrades.
3. Interact with vendors to obtain root cause analysis for sector carrier outages, create and distribute preventive procedures, and work with field engineers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
4. Analyze network coverage to ensure communication continuity and network integrity, including preventative and remedial maintenance of customer-facing network elements.
5. Ensure networks operate at peak performance, exceed KPIs, and comply with all engineering guidelines.
6. Run diagnostics and generate reports from networking tools to baseline network performance.
7. Oversee troubleshooting and restoration efforts for regional CDMA, LTE, and 5G network elements to improve performance and reduce resolution times.
8. Manage operational standards, including developing best practices, troubleshooting techniques, and performance monitoring tools.

Qualifications:

• Experience and knowledge with Ericsson ENM/AMOS technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree or four+ years of work experience.
• PIM/VSWR/MIMO/RET experience, including fiber and LTE radio heads.
• Strong communication and technical skills.
• Knowledge of LTE and 5G operations, KPIs, VoLTE.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in system performance analysis and tools.
• Experience with *** applications and tools.
• Knowledge of Samsung USM, Nokia WebEM.
• Knowledge of RF antenna system concepts.
• Experience with Microsoft applications.

Logistics:

Shift (until daylight savings ends 10/31/25): Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM PT, including an hour lunch.

Shift change (beginning 11/03/25): Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM PST, including an hour lunch.

Additional hours and Saturday work may be required in the future.
