Job Description:

As a team member of the FAST, your primary role will be to provide remote support to Field Engineers with the integration of new equipment into the network. You will also help to identify and troubleshoot network issues that arise. This may include alarm verification, remote resolution, cell site access assistance, network data trending, and documentation.

Responsibilities include:

1. Monitor and respond quickly to issues related to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and System Alarms on regional switch & data network elements, including LTE, EVDO, CDMA, VoLTE, and EBH networks.
2. Serve as the primary contact for telecommunications during on-site vendor equipment upgrades.
3. Coordinate with vendors to obtain root cause analysis for sector carrier outages, develop preventive procedures, and work with field engineers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
4. Analyze network coverage and integrity, performing preventative and remedial maintenance on customer-facing network elements.
5. Ensure optimal network performance, exceeding KPIs, and adhering to engineering standards and guidelines.
6. Utilize networking tools to baseline network element performance through diagnostics and reporting.
7. Oversee troubleshooting and restoration of regional CDMA, LTE, and 5G network elements to improve performance and reduce resolution times.
8. Develop operational standards, troubleshooting techniques, and performance monitoring tools.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Ericsson ENM/AMOS technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree or four+ years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of PIM/VSWR/MIMO/RET, fiber, and LTE radio heads.
• Strong communication and technical skills.
• Understanding of LTE and 5G operations and KPIs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in system performance analysis and tools.
• Familiarity with *** applications and tools.
• Knowledge of Samsung USM, Nokia WebEM.
• RF concepts related to antenna systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
