Baptist Health is seeking a Network Engineer I to support the design, documentation, and maintenance of our hospital network infrastructure. You will perform hands-on troubleshooting for connectivity and performance issues and help ensure systems remain compliant with organizational standards.
This role supports 24/7 reliability with scheduled maintenance and participates in a rotating on-call schedule. A 4-year degree or 2 years of related experience is required, with CCNA/JNCIA certifications
Summary: The Network Engineer I supports the design, documentation, and maintenance of network infrastructure while providing hands-on troubleshooting for connectivity and performance issues. They manage assigned projects and research system upgrades to ensure hardware and policies remain compliant with organizational standards. To ensure 24/7 reliability for the hospital, this role also performs scheduled maintenance and participates in a rotating on-call schedule.

Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Certification: Associate level industry certifications desirable - CCNA, JNCIA, etc.

This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
