Job Title: Network Engineer- F5 Load Balancer

Job Summary

Responsible for tool and service design within a technical domain that enables business strategies in accordance with architectural governance standards and policies. Serves as a primary contributor to the creation of infrastructure tools and their integration as infrastructure services. Facilitates deployment of technical solutions through templates, playbooks, and automation used during implementation. Continuously seeks opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency while implementing and maintaining infrastructure tools and services, embracing a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

The Network Services Delivery Operations organization is seeking an experienced Load Balancing Engineer to support global load balancing infrastructure. This role is responsible for supporting load balancing platforms, building relationships with Lines of Business (LOBs), improving Service Request Fulfillment (SRF) processes, and ensuring the continued health and stability of enterprise load balancing services.

Required Skills

• F5 Load Balancer (Mandatory)
• VMware ESXi (Mandatory)
• Cisco SDN Network Administration (Good to Have)
• Minimum 5 years of experience with F5 LTM and GTM.
• 1+ years of experience with F5 APM and ASM.
• 1+ years of AVI VMware experience.
• CCNP, F5 201 certification, and/or equivalent practical experience.
• Advanced troubleshooting experience in complex network environments.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, SSL, and related networking protocols.
• Subject matter expertise in load balancing, DNS, and SSL offloading technologies.
• Functional understanding of F5 API, iControl, and application integrations.
• Expertise in application switching and traffic management.
• Deep knowledge of persistence methods, SSL offloading, SSL certificate implementation, web acceleration, and TCP optimization.
• Understanding of SSL Certificate and Private Key Infrastructure (PKI), including certificate lifecycle and rollover processes.
• Experience planning, designing, and implementing enterprise-level network security technologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to executive leadership.
• Experience managing large, globally distributed engineering teams.
• Ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.

• 5+ years of network engineering and/or technology management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.
