Responsibilities

• Support and maintain enterprise network and application delivery infrastructure.
• Administer and troubleshoot F5 BIG-IP platforms, including LTM, GTM, and WAF.
• Support AVI/VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer environments.
• Perform load balancer configuration, upgrades, migrations, and production support.
• Configure and troubleshoot virtual services, pools, pool groups, health monitors, SSL/TLS certificates, persistence, and traffic policies.
• Support GSLB/global traffic management, site failover, data center migrations, and traffic cutovers.
• Troubleshoot application delivery and network connectivity issues.
• Perform pre-change and post-change validation and document operational procedures.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and network teams.
• Develop or support automation using Python, Unix, or Ansible.
• Participate in off-hours or weekend support activities as needed.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong expertise in F5 BIG-IP and AVI/VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting enterprise-scale load balancing environments, performing upgrades, troubleshooting application traffic issues, and supporting production infrastructure.

This role requires a proactive, self-driven professional who can work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP, including load balancing and application protection.
• Experience with F5 WAF.
• Hands-on experience with AVI/VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer.
• Experience with Arbor or DDoS protection technologies.
• Knowledge of network fundamentals, including routing, switching, TCP/IP, subnets, and firewalls.
• Experience with SSL/TLS certificates, HTTPS, and application delivery troubleshooting.
• Experience with F5 LTM/GTM and load balancing technologies.
• Experience with scripting or automation using Python, Unix, and/or Ansible.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience performing F5 and AVI upgrades and configuration deployments.
• Experience with F5 OS versions 15.x and 17.x.
• Experience with base builds and operational support for AVI Controllers/Service Engines.
• Experience supporting GSLB, site failover, and data center migrations.
• Experience working in large-scale, mission-critical production environments.
• F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator and/or VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer (AVI) certification.
